.so she stripped off too. I've been waiting for her to moult for ages, so chuffed it all went ok as its my first scorpion moult

2 days ago, ready to pop!

Little glow in the dark pic

This is how I found her this afternoon, still grey as she hasn't fully hardened up yet

Beautiful little squishy scorp. I love how they look ready to burst just before they moult and how they look a little bit like the Bertie Bassett sweet in liquorice allsorts after they moult.

That is fab!! I now can't wait to see our girl at work moult! I wouldn't mind a scorp but the o/h isn't very keep :-(
* edited to ask how do they go about shedding are they like the T's and go over on to their backs?

Just think though, everyone could look really young again no matter what age they were after a moult!

Lupi lou, they moult very differently from T's. Instead of flipping over, they basically walk out of their old skin!

Wow that video was cool! You can really see in that 1st pic how badly she needs to moult :O Must be a lot more comfortable now she's not all squished up :D

Spider and Scorpion molts always surprise me, i find them so interesting. being able to create an exact double without breaking the old skin...<3

Yep the poor love looked like she was going to burst, must be feeling a lot better now.

lupi lou you should get one, they are cool little critters. Plus they can't climb glass or plastic so you don't have to worry about them flitting the enclosure when you open the lid lol
