Hey there forum members. Just thought id introduce myself, I'm Hayley and i'm new to the forum (as a member) however have been using the forum as a source of information for a little while. I have found it a god send for so many things with my first reptile and hopefully my growing family of reptiles i would like to acquire. Thanks in advance for any replies to this post and hope to chat to you all through threads soon :)

Hi Hayley, and Mo. So glad you've come out of the shadows and joined us properly . You'll have seen that this is a great forum with lots of experienced owners happy to give their advice and support. You also get lots of fun and friendship .

I know you have already browsed the TCS site and forum, so you've probably already looked at these threads....but better heard twice than not at all. The best place to start is the Care Sheet, which is helpful. Also have a look at Your 1st snake and, as Mo is a hatchling, Setting Up A Hatchling Corn Snake - My 101 is definitely required reading.

If you can't find what you want to know using the search option, then please don't hesitate to ask. We don't bite....much .

Pics are compulsory, of course. Hopefully this will help - Photobucket update .. You can also post pics via Facebook, just right click on the photo and select copy URL and add them between the [img] tags.

I'm glad you're already aware of the fact that Mo won't be your last corn....they are SO addictive .

Xxx

Thanks Kellog for the quick reply. As much as some folk feel they know it all about snakes, every one of them is an induvidual and there is always more to learn which is why i find this site is quite important to me, havnt found one like it yet that i prefer :)
Mo is doing brilliantly, in fact she even ate 2 pinks in one sitting today which was a first for her. Hopefully she's close to moving up to fluffs but im not sure how to advance her to them. im thinking if she starts taking 2 pinks more often each meal time then i'll have a process of 2 pinks one meal, then one fluff the next. See how she gets on with the fluff and then carry on like that until i run out of pinks (i have a fair stock). Eventually just keeping her on fluffs until she needs to advance again. I could have a bad process though. Any ideas?

That's ok Hayley . It's really up to you. There's no rush to move her up to fuzzies, and personally I'd use up your pinkies rather than chop and change between feeds. BUT, as you've said, each snake is an individual and it's a case of what you think works best for her.

I'm glad you are enjoying the forum. I was lucky, it was the first one I found when I was in need and I've never looked anywhere else. I know others have used other forums and some belong to more than one....traitors ! But I think the overall view is that we are pretty unique .
