A picture posted for Herriotfan....hatchling 1 is here. A beautiful little amel, just like its daddy! This is from the mating with Sidney and Phoebe (her carolina) so she was expecting them all to be carolinas, what a lovely surprise to find a mini Sidney!! She's so 'chuffed', to use her expression  !

We're up to 6 hatchlings now.
So far there are 2 amels, 1 normal and 3 snows.
More eggs are starting to pip so I wonder what others I'll get??
I will try to get photobucket to co-operate and post some snaps after they're all here and have had their first shed.
This clutch was the first time I've bred Sidney and Phoebe so the outcome was a bit of a mystery although, to be honest, I was just expecting some beautiful normals! |

That's great that you are getting such variation. Will keep my fingers crossed for an anery or two ....and maybe some other surprises .

gorgeous wee babies, would love another one but not allowed  was originally looking for an anery but out of the 3 the guy had 2 were reserved and the other a non feeder , so got my wee amel Sheldon instead, he was the best feeder out of the whole clutch. wouldn't be without him now as he's a stunner. good luck with the rest of the eggs xx |
