Excuse the poor quality pics, my camera died after I turned it on so used my phone with no flash.
Drago with a weaner rat, instant take, all gobbled down in a few minutes followed by a long drink.

| Looks like he enjoyed that! I offered food to my two yesterday(21st) and the female unsurprisingly refused but the male took both small mice very nicely lol. He struck the first, ate it and then struck the second whilst still re-adjusting his jaw lol. |

They may not be the best pics Lee....but they certainly show how wide Drago can get his mouth  !!
Out of curiosity, how often do you feed him? As far as I'm aware a weaner rat is equivalent to a jumbo/x-large mouse, so I would assume every fortnight??

I know he can certainly open it wide and put them away in no time! It always amazes me and it's incredible to watch, he also drank for a fair while afterwards. That was one of the fattest rats he's had, some have been longer but that was a chubby one.
He gets offered every 2 weeks with one that size or 10 days for smaller ones. |
