Basil is very handsome :) He's a Carolina also known as normal or wild-type, in case you were wondering :) |

Hi all.
Just a quick question... Basil has become very active in his viv over the past few days. Is the normal? i have had him just over a week now do you think he has just settled in? he still really seems happy to be handled and loves to curl around my arm and be stroked so i dont think he's unhappy but just thought id check with ppl that know more than me :)

Sounds like he's settling in nicely :) Also there is always the risk he's on the lookout for lady snakes lol :P |

Happened to me with Diego, he was nice and settled and feeding well before I bought him, when I got him home he started his glass dancing and hasn't stopped since. It's been 3 months now XD |

I've had little Midas for nearly 3 weeks now.
The first week, he hid a lot for the first few days and I never really saw him, after his first feed he also hid away for two days without even poking his head out. Two days after that he became active every night after 19.00 moving about near the glass and exploring the viv, prob looking for ways to escape as its the place where he can see the most light. He's also become more active after his last two feeds, he now moves about a little bit on the feeding night and the next night he's back to a normal |
