Sorry the URL's are on there but for some reason the forum wont let me edit my own posts
The bottom one is Jems baby home I always think it looks cruel to keep a snake in such a small box but it's only till she grows up.
Do any experienced eyes want to take a guess at how old Jem is her terrarium is 18" and she is roughly as long as her house.
I know it's hard to judge by photos but a rough idea will do it's just so I can gauge her feeding I'm currently feeding her 1 fuzzy twice a week as advised to do by the store |

| nice pics. feeding twice a week is to much, every 5-6 days is better. also try and feed her in a seperate tub, they can sometimes eat a bit of their bedding that gets stuck to their food which can lead to problems. |

Nice pics.of noshy time,love seeing them feed the way they 'move over' the food-very clever.
I have a couple of these Monkfeild vivs.the two foot long ones.Young'uns seem to do well in them. |

It's difficult to tell age from size because they all grow at different rates.
I'd agree with feeding her in a seperate rub or at least put kitchen roll over the substrate so she doesn't ingest any.
The Monkfield is great until she outgrows it. Do you have another hide you could pop in the cool end for her to snuggle up in? I'm sure she'd appreciate two....one for warm time and one for cool time.
Jem is clearly still young, but on a bigger feed than pinkies so I'd be feeding her once a week if she were mine.

Yeah I have one that my gecko Ninja never goes in so I could take that out of her viv and put it in with Jem.
Ninja would still have 2 hides so it's not a problem.
It's a hollowed out log what you recommend to disinfect it before I put it in Jems viv.
I've still got her RUB that she came in but it needs a rinse out before I could feed her in it I've just been to lazy to do it
Feeding intervals has been noted I'll increase to every 5-6 days from now on thanks for the advice |
