I'm glad I was warned hoggys take longer to shed than corns lol. Had to help him out with the top of his head and his tail tip, need to keep the damp hide a bit more damp next time I think...
I never realised they had fine stripes down their sides until we got him

He really is a cutie. I think there nostrils are pretty cool as well. The way the scale? is positioned so no substrate gets in when burrowing. Amazing little snakes. Always make me smile lol. |

Thanks guys :) I am praying he will feed tonight - stopped eating a week or so before I suspected he was going into blue, and is looking really skinny now, he's only had 3 or 4 feeds with us since we got him at the end of Jan :( |
