Hi everyone just back from hospital and I am absolutely amazed at all the fantastic messages from you all you really are a fantastic bunch and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
Just a quick update 2 units of blood today but this time no amount of pestering and mickey taking would make them speed it up they dragged each one out for the full 3 hours and didn't start the first one until 1 PM, 2 blood tests and 2 canullas (sorry don't know how to spell it) as the first one missed the mark so they had to change arms as they blew the vein, 1 heart trace and numerous examinations, they are sending me an appointment out in the next couple of weeks for a colonoscopy (aren't I the lucky one) and a further appointment in 6 - 8 weeks back at the clinic for to see if I'm still actively bleeding.
I'm off to bed in a minute but will catch up with you all later, once again a massive thank you xx |

You don't need to thank us all Jane....this forum seems to attract people who really do care and like to show it . And don't go on too much about us being a fantastic bunch or our heads will get too big ! I know how encouraging it is to get support like this, so let us keep doing it !!
I'm glad you got on ok at the hospital. I know you wanted them to push that blood into you as fast as possible, but they must have been doing it slowly for a reason. Frustrating but necessary. I'm also glad that you've had a number of tests done and blood taken, and you're getting a colonoscopy done....again something you'd rather not do but necessary. Just focus on the fact that all of this, the pain and indignity, is to get you sorted out. Better to go through it and get an answer than not and live like you are.
I do hope you're feeling ok today. This must all be taking its toll on you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Xxx
