Swigpig, are you 100% sure, he hasn't? They can be very crafty at hiding poops, and if you have a small snake, on aspen, sometimes the dried up poop all but disappears.

If you are 100% sure, you could try the good old bath, with water around 28 C (be careful not to have the water too warm - I was told " luke warm " which I took to be around 35C, and my poor Baz, then hatchling, went into a temprature shock! ). Put some water into a tub, very shallow, and put the snake in gently and gradually, supporting him at first. Supervise him at all times, in case he panics. Many snakes don't enjoy the bath, they usually poop within 5 mins or so.

Depending on the snake, 2 weeks isn't that long without a poo. Apollo sometimes goes 3 weeks between piles (they smell really really really vile!).

My Asher is the same as the one Eeji used to have and Moppet's....he often goes between feeds without doing anything, which totally messes up his weight record .

Does your snake usually have regular bowel motions? Is there a bulge near its vent? If so, then it's a sign that it is due a poo. Am assuming your temps are ok.... If you are worried, you can do as Razee suggested and bath it, I don't think there's any snake that can control its bowels when it's put in water ! Just be careful about the temp of the water.

Xxx
