oh god loads but I will always suggest a carpet python, an irian jaya should stay below 6'. There are a few rat snakes, garter snakes, (shh I didn't suggest this one) a hoggie, Kenyon (sp?) sand boa to name but a few but the best choice will be a carpet |

House Snake, Hognose, Eastern Indigo Snake, Rosy Boa, Kenyan Sand Boa, King Snake, Rat Snake(I personally love Rhino Rat Snakes), Irian Jaya Carpet Python, Royal(Ball) Python, Emerald Tree Boa(snappy), Green Tree Python, Vine Snake, Ribbon Snake, Garter Snake, Amazon Tree Boa, Paraguayan Rainbow Boa... There's loads lol. This is all I can think of at 02:15am but there are a lot more. Some of these are hard to come by and pricey, some are cheap at chips. I will say that if you get an Emerald Tree Boa, watch it's teeth! They have the longest teeth of any non-venomous snake. Longer than an adult Reticulated Pythons teeth. |

Rainbow boa!!
I am really surprised at the carpet python suggestions - I thought they got quite a bit bigger than 6ft - but I assume that the Irian Jaya is a smaller one? |

I'd love a hoggie or a rainbow boa! Just the issue of keeping high humidity with BRB's |

They can grow bigger than 6ft most the time don't they? Like well into the 6ft/7ft I thought.
Theres many snakes that grow under 6ft, it depends if you like your snakes chunky, temperaments, colours ect.
I am biased and will also recommend a cuddly king <3 |
A very special super, duper thanks for K :3 |

Eastern indigo females are typically smaller than the males . Im no expert mind , from limited research I thought males got to the 6ft mark with the few exceptions getting larger . Its got me thinking , now ill have to go an have another look |

We think we are liking the crawl cay or brazillian rainbow boa at moment. However we have not been able to find a crawl cay breeder anywhere, any ideas. Also concerned about humidity with rainbow boa as wanted to put on wooden viv any ideas. |
