I've been looking at Cereus recently and then I took a picture of his head that shows both his eye clearly last night. I've just looked at the picture and it looks like he may have wonky eyes 
Here's the picture, I'm pretty sure snakes cannot move their eyes independently to one another.
And here's one of him coming out for a roam in his new viv.
Can anyone shed some light one it? |

| I am pretty sure snakes cannot move their eyes i two different directions at a time... And in that particular picture he seems to have wonky eyes. BUT that can be a thing of a moment. Had you noticed that before? |

Oh that picture is sooooo funny I genuinely lol'd! Don't worry Acidic, I'm sure it's just that the photo was at a funny angle. Their eyes do protude a bit after all, so you've just caught the edge of his right eye and got an unusual view of it - bit like looking through a glass of water from different angles.
Well... either that or you've got a chameleon corn ;) |

I'm just confused cause when my uncle had him they looked normal lol. Unless it's just that the photo's were at an odd angle like you say and when I looked at him earlier he was wriggly lol. |

These were the best I could get while I had him out. Doesn't look so much wonky now but his right pupil does seem to be bigger and furth up his eye than his left. You'll have to excuse the fact that I had to hold him still. Though he can't have been too distressed as he didn't try backing up or anything, just sat there while I took the pictures then went on his merry way round my floor.

nearly all animals have the capability of moving there eyes independently most just don't know or care how to do it.
if you took a video of your life at some point yours eye would go wonky too without you knowing |

I think the snakes can move eyes independently to certain extend, I noticed that with mine - something moves on one side, and they follow it with the eye on that side, without bothering to turn their head. It's not as obvious, as in chameleons ( I don't think they could go as far as chameleons ). I saw lizards do that, as well.

| Ah, Ok Thank you. I was just a little worried because obviously if he had a bit of a problem with his eyes I wouldn't want to breed him in case it passed on. |
