We moved Spider from a 2ft into a new 3ft viv on Saturday after feeding him, as he was outgrowing the last one (he's about 38"). Before, he was very active (even regularly during the day recently (a "time-of-the-year" thing I think?)), but now I haven't seen him at all during the day. I know he's been out at night because there was poo at the cold end, but haven't seen him during the day.
He's got plenty of places to hide and the temperatures are fine. We've left him be since Saturday to settle in. He is due a shed soon-ish, so I'm hoping it's that but I haven't disturbed him to check.
Does this seem normal to you? Should we leave him for a bit longer to settle, or get him out to check on him? |

I'd leave him for the full week to get settled in. It takes them a bit of time when they move into a new viv, so I like to give my lot a week without being disturbed so they get used to their new home |

It's a new home for him so he'll need to settle in. Also if he's only just been fed he'll be needing to digest his meal. I wouldn't worry, he'll soon be back to his normal self. |
