Just got myself a brace of these; two 36"x18"x18" vivs.

http://www.scalesandfangs.co.uk/reptile-housing/monkfield-reptile-wooden-vivariums/reptile-flat-packed-vivariums/beech-36-inch-x-18-inch-x-18-inch-melamine-flat-vivarium

And I really like them. Better packed than the old Vivexotic stuff, easier to put together and well made. All the external fixings are kept to the back and bottom of the viv, and there are 4 internal cam fittings at the top.

It took about 15 minutes to build the vivs, and all the runners are fitted to the top and bottom plinths, and also the sides, so it all goes together in only one way.

Finished viv, assembly stickers still attached (with added cabinet legs).

Base fittings.

Back fittings.

Internal fittings (same both sides).

Both vivs.

Nice bits of kit! Both of them are drilled for wires (the top wire access' have been siliconed in), sealed, and will be ready for snakes tomorrow!

Looks good!
Is there any difference other than labels and packing to the viv exotics?

Yep. Its put together differently, so you cannot put it together any other way apart from the right way. And the labels ensure that the right pieces go to the right place...

Look good Dan :) Are they more sturdy/less sturdy or about the same as the vivexotics? Would you say they are better quality?

These are more sturdy than the Vivexotic stuff, and the quality is better as well. Easier to put together, and it's all cut straight as well, so none of the wonky glass problems either...

So does the glass actually fit in these ones? My ex had a vivexotic that she had to take the bottom runner off and stuff a line of thick carboard under to raise the bottom runner a bit as the glass only just touched the top runners and fell out easily. We found out when her corn snake was climbing up it while we were sat in the living room and the front piece of glass slipped slightly. Luckily she caught it before it fell out completely as the viv was wall mounted but it was so easy to push out.

The glass fits well, and the proper locks work on them as well!

There are runners on the sides as well, so the glass slides into them, so it's very secure.

Awesome! Will definitely keep these in mind then. Are they more or less expensive than Vivexotic? Or around about the same?

They're cheaper than the medium Viva, but more pricey than the medium Repti-stax. But it's bigger than both of Vivexotics vivs...
