survive.

this lad was one of the twins (his twin didnt survive hatching and was seriously deformed so not a bad thing he didnt).

He weighed next to nothing we never even gave it a hatch number as we really didn't think it would survive very long. Happily I was wrong and he has gone from strength to strength.

Nice dark little normal, shall name him eventually but happy without one for now lol. Is also a cracking example of partial motley lol, you normally cant tell het mot but i would put money on this being het motley though.

Nice hatchie, and a real fighter. You could call him Maximus, or Gemini. :-)

I'm glad you said about the pattern sometimes showing het for motley. I noticed that some het motleys did have the first several saddles joined, and always wondered about it. How reliable is it?

it isnt, most corns as hatchlings have the top few joined lie motley, but this one has more than a few and no belly checkers till the normal pattern starts ;) We have hatched a good few of these loooking some with half motley some wih a bit more but still not motley
