Right, I've looked at some of the DIY posts on how to build a viv and being quite handy, I'm gonna give it a go.. My question is how big do I go.. Danno is still only a baby, just 4 months old, and measures about 30cm or so, (12 inches for you imperialites).. I don't want to build it so big that he gets lost, but I don't want to build it so small that he'll outgrow it in a year or so.. So as a rough size guide, what would you recommend? |

a 3ft by 1 - 1 1/2 viv is fine for an adult corn as a forever home. that way to can always keep Danno in a faun untill he is ready to move into the full size viv. or you could put in a temporary partition in the viv you make and remove it once he's bigger |

Yup, I figured a partition would be a way forward.. I guess that would also save him having to get used to a new viv lat on.. Just remove the partition and he has an extension :).. Thanks for the sizes.. I'll get the old drawing board out of the loft.. |
