Well after a bit of a false start with the daughters first corn (difficult eater etc), we've recently re-homed this little critter and he seems to have settled very well indeed. Feeding a treat and very inquisitive, 'Dave' (her comical name for him, don't think it'll stick), was born early Sept and came with brilliant records ref feeding, shed etc.

Above were on day of arrival, settled very quickly and having a good nose round ...

... and found the warm bit too ...

This could become addictive, I'm considering No2 at this very moment

He certainly is a feisty little critter and very active. Seemed to settle instantly (although we were obviously prepared for the recommended 1 week settling period). Good feed records and struck for his first feed (with us), with great gusto.
The breeder has other corns available, all with the same well detailed records etc., and all born at the same time (give or take a day), so will consider a return visit soon.
Watch this space...

Paul
