Little T was in blue - for the last 10 or so days. He cleared day before yesterday. Last night we had to go to a birthday party, so was quite a busy evening, lots of running around, getting ready at the last minute, as usual.
Rushing past the vivs, I noticed Little T was out and crawling around - and I just knew, he was going to shed, whilst we were at the party. It was like the little git KNEW, he was out in the open , bold as brass ( whilst normally he's very secretive ), staring straight at me, and I'd swear he was sniggering. At least, there was a distinct air of sniggeruity about him.
Sure enough, got back about 3 h later, and here it was - perfect new shed. On the upside - he's 105 cm ( shed was about 117 cm ), so has now, for the first time officially, overtaken Bazilishka -she shed last week at 101 cm. :-)

Gosh, he's big! My 2011 is only 75cm...but I guess Apollo is a little snake, always has been.

I'm sure they do it on purpose, I've tried to catch a few of mine in the act in the past. Sat by their vivs very patiently, I either go to the loo or go to let the dog out or something and they shed in the few minutes I'm away! Seems like they're shy.

Yep, and what got me most, was that he was just boldly promenading around the viv, whilst we were running around, lights on... It really was like he knew and was laughing at me. :-0

Moppet, it scares me a bit, how fast he grows. He's fed once a week, and looks quite lean ( he only weighs 250 g, whilst Bazilishka, shorter than him, is 315 g ). He also seems to grow a lot without having to shed - Baz has to shed every 4 cm she grows, he can easily manage to grow 10 cm without shedding, and his record was 17 cm between sheds! I wonder whether it goes with him being an Okeetee, as they're meant to grow large. He's not 2 till end of July / August.
