I posted this on theroyalpython but had no replys so i thought i would try on here. I have noticed my male has one blue eye. its very milky ... is it possible for one eye to be in blue or could it be a different problem?

If it's the front surface of the eye it will be a corneal problem - possibly just retained eyecaps or possibly and infection. If it seems to be in the pupil it could possibly be a cataract...

Sounds more like the former to me, and I'd advise a reptile specialist vet opinion.

There is a really good thread about how to treat retained eyecaps, have you seen it? I will try to find it for you later if not (have to go out now lol).

Better to get it checked ASAP by a rep-vet, especally if the eye is sunken.
You may cause more harm than good if you start treating for retained cap instead of an infection or other condition.

yeah i wasn't going to go poking around with it too soon anyway! he is such a nice active friendly snake so it doesn't seem like its affecting him much but i will see about going vet real soon!
