random question. can't find an answer on my good old friend Google! how big is a corn snakes brain? I have no reason to ask, other than I'm curious! when I was feeding Oscar the other night his head goes really flat, I was thinking his brain must be teeny to fit in there! so yeah if anyone could answer that that'd cure my curiosity!

A snake's brain is very similar in structure to a bird's brain, although it doesn't have the enlarged cerebral hemispheres found in birds and mammals which is related to learning. Snakes have still shown they are capable of learning without it.

As for size, it depends on the size of the snake. It isn't big. You can guesstimate based upon anatomy pictures of other types of snakes.

I'd say for most adult corn snakes that it is no bigger than a pea.

Or maybe you have one of the intellectuals. It seems like most of the time people who are academically smart aren't all that coordinated...
