Hi guys
My 8yr old son wanted a pet corn for xmas and being a snake fan for years myself (although never having owned one) I was more than happy to make his dream come true so I only had the wife to convince!
To my surprise she agreed and here we are with a delightful wee corn called Jake.
He's feeding on one pinkie every 4 days at the moment no problem possibly gong to up it to 2 soon as there's not much of a bump after eating it (any info appreciated) and he shed on Saturday without any issues.
Needless to say my son Corey is delighted with him and has taken the shed skin into school today to show his class.
Great forum with lots of info which is well appreciated and I can see how snake ownership can be addictive and rewarding!

Awww congrats, he's lovely! I've loved snakes for years too, but also only got one last year when my son wanted one for Christmas lol! Hubby has said on several occasions why on earth didn't we get one sooner?!

Small tip - better to feed at 5 day intervals rather than 4, to give their digestive systems a bit of a break. If it's not leaving much bump then I'd go to 2 small pinks every 6 days :)
