The weeks waiting is so very hard. Every single time I got a new snake it was hard to wait 7 days but it is best for the corn snake to get that settling in time imo. Just think about how scary it must be for the snake, moving house, car journey, new smells, new hides, new big scary humans with different smells, different sounds etc etc etc.

It does seem to drag so badly but once the week is over you'll be glad you waited and you'll have a happier, better adjusted snake to show for it

It's best to give Patrick a full week to settle in. Even though his enclosure hasn't changed, the views and smells have, so it'll still be worrying for him It'll be worth the wait

It's very difficult to get through the long settling period but it will be worth it.
It's the hardest part of the addiction, no matter how many snakes you have!!

It's a very long week but it's best for him. I sat watching Tanith's faun for half an hour when I first got her, thinking I could see her head poking out and not wanting to make her jump. It was a leaf
