Ok so after endless amounts of research I got 2 corns a few weeks ago. At present they are 3 months old, feeding like pigs, shedding well and making a mess as they should. Bob, is the larger one at 14".
After feeding on pinkies (which takes him about 30 secs to swallow after he's found the head) he then rampages around his tub for several hours flicking his tongue and snapping at anything that moves. Am I right to assume he is hunting for more food?
Also there is still a small visible bump, but not immediately visible unless you take time to look. So if I give him 2 pinks in one feeding, is this the right way to go until I feel he can handle a fluff?
I've seen to many care sheets with different advice and I'm kinda new to the corn snake world as I'm used to royals and boa's and they can handle much larger meals. Baby corns seem so delicate after years of keeping bigger species, I don't wanna give the lil guy too much.
Thanks in advance peeps!

The way corns normally progress in sizes is as follows:
one pinkie
2 pinkies (or one v.large pinkie if you can get them)
1 fluff
2 fluffs (or one hopper if you can get them)
smalls
mediums
large

Corn snakes often search for more food, even when they've had a big meal. Apollo would eat two or three smalls if I let him (he only needs one and has a large bulge so he gets just one. Always looks for more though!) Andromeda and Titan are the same. They are on two pinks and it leaves a big bulge but they always look for more.

If there isn't much of a bulge after feeding one pinkie then try him on two. I put my snakes up a size when the bulge is just barely visible.

They will eat a mouse that's up to 1.5 the size of the snakes body at it's widest part.
Once each size of mouse is no longer leaving a bump then it's ok to feed two at a time as long as the snakes doesn't regurge. After a few double feeds with no problems then move up to the next size.
Some owners will not bother with double feeds, they just move straight onto the next size up. That's fine too. The most important thing is to use the 1.5 guide. As long as you stick with prey that's no bigger than 1.5 you should be ok.

George is approximately 4 months. Just got back from the Pet Shop after buying some more feeds.

Realized that the fluffs are alot bigger than the ones I purchased last visit. So George will be staying on fluffs for some time.

Ok thanks guys
I'm just making a rough guess by watching his behavior. Up until now he has always been fed and then disappeared in his warm hut for a day to digest lol. I have about 20 pinks left in the freezer so I'll give him a go with 2 pinks tonight :)
Another question.... Because of pinkies bones and stuff not properly formed, I'm guessing a fluff would be much more nutritious than a feeding of 2 pinkies. Is this right?

Yes that's right. Pinkies have very little nutritional value compared to the bigger sizes.
You'll notice him growing much quicker when he goes up a size!
