So i just got a new cage for my snake from my friend... and i made the stupid mistake of just taking his word that it was all selaed and good. well turns out that there was a little broken clip which made a litle crack on the back of the lid. So my snake got out. I've searched all over in my room and dug through the substrate and he seems to not be anywhere. I am getting worried and I don't really know where to look anymore. Is there any tips on looking for lost snakes?? i blocked off my door to my room so he can't get out but it is pretty cold in my basement and i dont know what to do. please help if yuou can...

Sorry to hear that. If you have a good read through this thread there are a few techniques that you can try and just keep looking absolutely everywhere. Good luck

If it's cool he'll be heat seeking... heatmat + hide somewhere close to his viv might lure him out...

When Monster got away on me I found him in a radiator.

If I was you, I would look where all the hot spots are in the room. maybe by a computer or radiator, as you will be most likely to find the snake somewhere close to heat :)Good luck and I hope you find your snake very soon x
