As usual cant sleep, and weird things pop in to my head Cats scratch to look after claws, dogs wear down claws, but i cut dew claws, also cut my ferret claws. What about reptiles? was thinking about Fudge and her sharp little diddy cute claws, they never get long, there is nothing in her rub to wear them down, so is it that they just stop growing? Sorry, body is knackered, but mind whirring with odd thoughts! |

Cresties claws can easily over grow. They will stop being able to stick to flat surfaces. I have a big piece of bark and some large rough aquarium rocks in goyles viv as his were too long when I got him. The girls ones seem ok tho. Maybe it's like rabbits and teeth some over grow some do not c |

Depends if you have a lazy cat, we use to have to trim our old ginger toms claws. He was to lazy to claw at wood the shorten them lol. Our skinks claws are quite long so may have to take them for a trim if they don't start clambering around more on the wood and rocks. |

Never had a problem with my cresties claws. I do have to trim my female beardie's though. They get long and sharp even though she has rocks, bark etc in her viv. I think it's just an individual thing with each animal. |
