Hey newbie here! I hit got my first corn and have been noyseying around ur forum and noticed a few of you have young kids who lie snakes! I wanted to ask you guys then on the bet way of introducing kids and snakes so neither gets stressed and is age as possible! My friend used I have snakes and is now a mummy and would love her 3 year ol to meet my little fella so he can learn about them and not be afraid!of course I wouldn't get him out to be handled just yet as I've not had him young and want him to be comepletly settled and comfortable with being handled but when the time Comes I'm wondering how would be best to go about it. Do you think she is still too young or is dimey too young (he's almost 6 months)
Sorry if this is a stupi question. Just looking for some good advice and want to make sure Dimebag is as happy as possible!
Thankyou!

Personally I would wait until i was confident myself handling young snakey then introduce the little one gradually and show him how to handle under your supervision and keep a very strict hygiene control and it shouldn't be a problem
Thanks guys! That's really good to know!! Thanks for replying so quick as well! Will wait till Dimebags older (pantera woooop) and im sure the little 'un will be just as please watching him explor his home! :)

I introduced Monster to my friends 4 year old daughter and got a very satisfying "Wow!"
I maintained my hold on him the whole time and let her start by watching him move through my hands, then she touched him at his midpoint (when I got the WOW)
We finished with him investigating her with his first 3rd while I still held on to him.
Mind you he was almost a meter at the time and has never been flighty or temperamental.

I make my 3 year old hold her hands out flat and then I guide the snake over her hands. I always have control of the snake and she feels like she is holding him. I only use one of my snakes to do this and he was about 10 months old when she first "held" him. My 2 year old is allowed to stroke only as I still don't trust him to not squeeze the snake if he had his hands out flat.
