is the most amazing thing ever! Emmy had a TERRIBLE shed the other day, so i popped some in with her overnight before i tried anything else, and woke up to beautifully shed snake :) i think she even has the tiniest bit of yellow appearing on her wee nose too!

My 2 had bad sheds last time, did you put the moss in a tub? Or, just damp in the viv?

mags, I put some moss in her hot hide overnight. also took out her cold hide so she would definitely go into the moss! feel like a bad mother haha but it worked.

Oh, great, thanks, yes, in the hot hide, that'd increase the humidity wouldn't it? Super, will definitely try this in future.

I think I'll try this tomorrow. Ghost is in blue and has had a few bad sheds since I've got her. Might as well help her out :)! I have a lot of sphagnum moss hanging around since I grow carnivorous plants so it should be pretty simple!

I normally put my sphagnum moss in a small container with a hole in. My snakes usually go in and take advantage of the moisture that way.

I've got the moss in the hot hide now, and Ghost has gone straight in. I've taken out her fake plant too which she likes to hide behind so fingers crossed she'll shed with no problems this time!
