Yep, that will work for a young royal, they prefer enclosed spaces too so they may like something like that quite a bit (depending on the royals size)

If you are planning on getting a royal, I will just say that they are such amazing pets (not saying that corns aren't) but they are MUCH slower than corns and are really relaxing when you are chilling out ;)

Herriotfan, are you taking a walk on the pet rock side? They are great but they don't do much. Different league to corns though, so much more strength to them, they tend to be much calmer and chilled out but don't know about slow, like any snake they can shift when they want to the closest I've ever come to a bite was from my Royal so I can confirm they are fast.

We haven't had our royal all that long but they are amazing characters, so relaxed when out. Though our seems to have some confusion over what he is. In the evenings we find him hanging in the vines in the top of the viv and he has yet to master the art of getting down from the vines and balling up. Maybe he never will
