My boy liquorice savagely attacks his mouse and coils round it that much that he loses his grip on it and then spends ages looking round his tub even though his body is still coiled round it. Does anybody else have a snake as daft as this lol.
yes my king snake has just started doing the exact same thing! She strikes really ferociously and coils and then spends 10 minutes staring at me going 'yeah?yeah!what!' or looking round the rub we always say shes giving it a little cuddle first ha ha
Yup my king does that coils so tightly he consumes the entire mouse then you can almost see the "oh crap" realisation hit him when he realises he needs to uncoil to eat it haha

Ha ha - it's like he's saying - where the heck is that mouse - wheresit, wheresit? I can smell it, I know it was here.... Bazilishka sometimes does the same, she even crawls round with the mouse in her coils..then when she realizes she's got the mouse, she can't find the head, because that's still somewhere in her coils.
