So if any one remembers I kept asking a lot of questions this summer about college courses etc. Well i found one :)
I'm studying Level 3 diploma in animal management at Askham Bryan College in York And its AMAZING :D they have a nice variety of reptiles.
gonna go on to uni after hopefully to do reptile breeding and genetics.
If anyones wanting to do a course and have any questions let me know, I'm 22 and i get it for free since ive only completed one A level previously.
If you wanna do it, look into it! You may be surprised - I got it for free! |

any one gets it for free if they haven't completed more than one A Level before. I did my drama A level but thats it so i got it for free :D
and as for a btec im not sure. I know its an extended diploma in animal management and its the equivelant of 3 A levels.
Thanks guys :) and yeah, Eeji you should have a look into part time courses. I dint think id be able to afford this but you might get it free or cheap, and you tend to get a grant of a bursary (not much, but its something!) |

My youngest still has two years at school but he hopes to progress onto college and study animal managemnet. His dream is to specialize in exotics (reptiles) and I really think he has the determination to achieve his goal. He says he would love to go on expedition to madagascar or somewhere else to study reptiles in their own habitat and all the other animals. He is always saying that it would be the coolest thing ever especially if he was lucky enough to discover a new species, his words not mine. Good luck with your studies and do keep posting with regards to how you are getting on as I am sure he would be interested to know. |
