ok my cornsnake has shed and its been apooppatch shed i manged to damp off a fair amount but there is a little bit left in the tail that just wont shift, no i can make a damp box and i could put in the substrait i use for my trantula and scorpian but its a soil of some sort that i boutr in blocks is this a good idea or a bad idea?
hi mate i dont know what any one else thinks of this but my brother has a pair of 1/2 yr old beauty snakes, both bad shedders no matter what we tried housing wise( especially towards the tail ) after seeing them and in my opinion thought the tail was dead for sure, used a rubber thumb like the ones they count money with, along with a good spray of shed aid and it came off no prob at all. hope that helped

Wet hides are to aid per she'd to make the shed better, if it's already retained I'd suggest a body temp bath and running him through a roughish flannel.
