Only two eggs seem to have survived from Mew's doubled clutched clutch... Its Day 58 today and the little one has pipped - and its my jackpot morph; Another little ultramel anery stripe

I decided to keep back the female stripe from her first clutch, so i'll probably let this wee one go |

That's great news! Just out of curiosity, is there normally a little bit of blood when they're hatching? I guess I never really thought about it until I saw that picture. |

I'm not entirely sure if its normal or not lol, but 3 or 4 of my eggies this year have had it with no issues to the babies at all |

thinking about it, i'd say its normal, cos there's veins in the egg and snakeys gotta get out somehow, so maybe they occaisionally rupture |

Ooooh lovely, congrats!! The blood is normal, I would assume it comes from the veins on the inside of the shell or something, a couple of mine from this year had it too |
