We've been watching Paul O'Grady on a Mon night, he's at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. He really loves them all, I wish I had room for all the unwanted dogs!
It always amazes me, when these dogs have been thru a rough time, they always have a wagging tail!

sbb, it has shown a few dogs that have come in thru cruelty cases but doesn't go into much detail. They have all left tho with new owners & they have a happy ending.
I get more upset tho coz we lost our dog a month ago & one of these dogs looked like her..

Thank you all for the very kind comments.

We have had a total of 4 rescue dogs now over the years, sadly Charlie (Doberman, Rottie cross) passed away just after christmas. We miss him greatly.

I still cannot under stand how people can be cruel to animals the thought is just beyond me.

Back story
Piggy was one such (extreme)case, the RSPCA wouldnt tell us what had happened to her at the time as it was in the hands of the courts and criminal investigation. However she was bauld, skinny and later found out via vet (and body scars) she has had broken back legs. But dispite all this she is the softest most gentle dog ever. Some people are just pure evil.

Vinny has also in the past suffered back leg damage (not to the extent of Piggy) and has multiple scars around his body. As you might not see he has a wonky ear which was a result of an untreated ear infection that due to untreamentby his previous owners has caused his ear to strivel up completely and irriversabley. He will as a result always have ear issues according to the vet. He is oblivious and mental as always

We love these Dogs :)

I must say if anyone is ever thinking of getting a dog/puppy please consider a rescue and give a dog a second chance :)

The spaff Spyro is a rescue, and have had many rescues over the years, including staying with my parents. Just such a shame that so many need a loving home
