ok so got rubi out of viv for a hold today and when i shut the glass i realized that there was about a 3-5mm gap at the top right had corner between the glass edge and the wood. The bottom of the same side was flush against the wood. Looks like either the glass wasnt cut striaght or the wooden panel is warped. IM now worried rubi will escape. i have a wedge for where the panels join will this be enough to stop her pushing it open more? or can she just fit through the gap?

I had the same problem i have clear plastic binders that i use it blocks the gap completely, does not get in the way, i can sent you one if you like? just email your address on scottishbluebird[at]aol.com just make it clear your from the forum, or i will delete it if i dont know who its from

Just cut length to size, slide over end of glass, then slide back a bit where the gap is
Our glass gap was at the bottom, like yours is about 3mm, i didnt want to risk escape!

MOD EDIT... tampered ya email address so spam bots don't use it :-)

Yep, binders work really well. You can get 5 of them from Staples for £2.50.

I'm thinking of fitting these binders to all the glass doors as a 'reminder' that it is open. Even being paranoid about closing and locking the doors, it is easy to leave one open when doing the rounds for spot cleaning and doing the water dishes.

The number of times I've sat down afterwards with a coffee then had that 'EEK! The door!!' moment does nothing for my blood pressure.

not goood at all. no i used blue lizard who were v appoligetic and always sent out for next day delivery..i think was more to do with the courier but as you said they should change the courier or something or mark them as fragile. I dont think i will use either again to be honest.
Im suprised they didnt sort them selves thats bad customer service.
Having said that i ordered some traininers through a company recently. They used a delivery company called hermes. Hermes left me slips saying if no contact made then will return after 3 attempts. However was no contact number on card and the website said had to ring company ordered from. did that they didnt even have the number for hermes and wouldnt help. After alot of googling found a number for hermes the option for waiting on delivery just took you back to main menu. When finally got through to someone they told me thet dont deal with people waiting on deliveries and couldnt help. luckily my partner was in for the 3rd attempt. I swear delivery companies just dont care any more
