Hi,
So ive had an empty 4ft viv (aka storage viv) at the bottom of my stack, its always been intended for Grantly my Carpet Python. I finally got round to clearing it out and creating Grantly's new permanent habitat (assuming he doesn't get to big). This means Tilion the Corn can move into Grantly's old 3ft, and Ginetta the housey can move into Tilion's 2ft, thats tommorows job. This has been on my masterplan from when I designed the stacks before I even had the snakes.
This is Grantly's very lovely old viv, that I had just how I wanted it, lol -
New 4ft viv cleaned out, shelves & heating in. The heat bulb is where it is because it won't affect the above viv's temperatures as much + and it gives him two basking areas. -
Furniture in. Grantly is already making use of the shelf above the heat bulb.
He spends most of his time in water, so I thought id give him a big water tray.
One of his old branches, I have loads in the shed that still need de-barking and sterilizing.
Spent all day on it, relatively happy, but it will take a couple of full cleans/re-designs before I get it perfect.
LED lighting is defo on the Christmas list lol, Grantly's certainly needs it, but I want it in all vivs.
About 11 more vivs to clean/re-design over the next couple of days, Grantly's took longer than anticipated so behind schedule.

| Cheers for the comments. A few teething problems with the heating as expected, but I think ive got it sorted now. Got the other two snakes moved today and another cleaned, so just another 8 vivs/terra/RUB's to go :) |
