Hi everybody my name is Harry! i have had my pet cornsnake for 3 days now ,  his name is Dexter.he had his first meal 48hrs ago and he is still sleeping. i can't wait to hold him!. I have never had a snake before and am still getting used to the set-up of his viv. but i have found this sites care sheet very useful and the forum comments an excellent resource to reassure me. i am sure if i have any queries that somebody will beable to give me some expert advice . Bye for now and appriciate any helpful comments.  |

| hi and welcome, congrates on the new addition, pics are a must on here!! It is recomended that you leave snakes to settle for the first week before handling to let snakie adjust to their new suroundings. |

Welcome to the site!!
As suggested id say leave snakey alone for a week(apart from spot cleaning and water changes) to let his food digest and also get used to his new surroundings.
You'll soon find that he'll be out on his own accord :-) |
