I picked this little guy up 8 days ago,he's to be my daughters birthday present. I've somehow got to try and keep him secret now till the 27th Sept,have a feeling I may fail lol.
Took some pics on the day I got him.
Just about to take him out of the tub. He quacked at me bless him!

Heehee it made me jump a bit when he quacked. He's got brave enough to take a couple of mealworms from my fingers and to hunt in front of me now. I got to see the very cute tail wiggle they do before he pounced on (and missed) a cricket the other day.
He doesn't half know how to give the puppy eyes too,soooo adorable! |

| hes lovely. can i just ask is that floor tiles your using because i have a rub for mine and i want to use tiles but i thought the heat from the heat mat wouldnt get through? |

Thankyou. I must admit I'm rather taken with him. My mum came along when I picked him up from the breeder and she totally fell for him too. He seems to have finally settled down and has fed the last few days in a row so I'll start trying to get him more used to handling soon
uma and bill - I have him on lino,got a couple of samples for free from a carpet shop I was a little worried about the heat getting through,but I've got the the thermometer probe on top of the lino and theres no issue.
Stegore - He's a Tremper Albino,my daughter made it very clear she wanted a yellow leopard gecko lol.

Have to say id rather have another crestie! i love the face on a leo, their eyes and smile are gorgeous, just the rest of them that doesnt appeal to me, especialy the tails, i find them weird!
Have you seen the mantis with wings like a butterfly? weird, but facinating |

Cresties are just adorable aren't they. I know what you mean about their tails lol,although after seeing him wiggle it when he's excited I love it.
I had my first handling session (2 minutes) today and although a little jumpy he settled down a little. Can't have been too stressed about it as he was hunting crix straight after.
