Ok that got your attention and I am not looking for fancy "chat up" lines... Do you come here often? Your viv hide or mine!! ooh thats a nice skin, your shed would look nice on my viv floor.. etc.
Was just wondering where is the best place to grab the snake as I am lifing it out of the viv. I tend to aim for the middle of Blossom. Yesterday I missed and she was none to happy when I caught her by the tail end. |

Its hard with hatchies are they are so small, I tended to scoop more at that age but the middle is a great place to :) |

''Can I buy you a mouse?'' Female snakes are terribly materialistic.
No but seriously... Gently but firmly and with confidence, and get them by the middle. I'm not a fan of grabbing snakes just behind the head - it just annoys them. I tend to think of tail-grabbing as a technique for dealing with aggressive snakes as it keeps the dangerous bit well away from you, but as with head-grabbing, it tends to annoy them. Tail-grabbing is also a sure-fire way of getting pooped on

That made me giggle, very fuuny
Ours are 9 weeks old, and I scoop them up about 3 inches from their heads, however with my own snake ( my baby ) I can actually pick her up with my fingers, so is so gentle and beautiful and quite calm, damn I love my snakey so much |
