He now has a pent house shelf.
The heat mat is placed under the shelf so it wont overheat.
The shelf also adds more floor space for him.
I know you might htink Im a girlie but I do like arranging his home to try and make it as natural as I can (I'm a virgo...nuff said).
I think he likes it

I bought from a chap in Cheshire The Limes Farm. He has had a number of pet, retpile, aquarium businesses over the years and is now semi retired. I found him by chance by googling what was available in my area for reptiles.
He actually makes the vivs himself using his knowledge of what snakes need and like

The shelf is what sold it to me too.
