hey, i have a baby corn, 2 months old. the breeder said to keep her on paper til she's a bit older. But how old is old enough for aspen bedding? |

would have thought both would be a bit sharpe at they are quite corse, plus they can be really dusty! neither are that absorbent either. storage maybe an issue too! |

i have used large amounts of it for the guinea pigs befor now ... you would need at lest an inch of it for the snakes and you would lose them in it. you have to use timiothy hay which is a softer hay and kitchen roll underneath |

My Frank too has always been on Aspen since we got him in June?? He is now only about 5 months old. Should I remove it and replace with kitchen paper??? I am a complete amatuer with snakes and would want the best for him? (carolina corn) |

Keep him how he is, the papaer is mainly to monitor poops, regurge etc so if he is doing well he should be fine. Also paper is to prevent him eating substrate if he is fed in the viv. |

I always start my hatchies on kitchen roll so that I can monitor them. When I'm happy that they are all eating pooping and shedding okay they all go on Aspen which they love!!! |
