OMG what a week sorry ive not been about but i shall explain all thats been going on everyday this week ive had specialists/drs/nurse appointments plus unexpected vets appointments i had to travel to london yesterday for one of my appointments which was very long day last friday i noticed rbambles my beautifull lil tortie cat wasnt quite right everyone was dimissing it telling me it was just the heat but i knew something was amiss i wasnt convinced next morning she still wasnt right so i decided off to vets with her turned out she had ingested some thread and needed emergency surgery to remove it i was bricking it was absolutely terrified id lose her she had to stay in the vets over the wknd turned out it had got all tangled up in her intestines and bowel (picture of contents below) shes starting to bounce back a bit now but its taken a lot of gentle persuasion to get her eating bless her and i now have a huuuge vet bill to pay off but shes worth every penny i think ive found the culprit responsible the rug in my hallway which i took a stanley knife too and have now dumped twas good therapy not quite £400 quids worth but itll have to do.....
Then today i noticed i had an escapee Barl was not in her viv a few panicked phonecalls later and i had a small army of friends here helping me tear the flat apart nwo they say that they turn up in the most random and unexpected places well you wont believe where barl turned up (see piccy below lol) my brother in law was here warming up some bottles of milk for the twins and he suddenly shouted quick paul come here look!! and this is what i saw!!!
And...this was the contents of Brambles intestines and bowel!

| heck thats quite a traumatic week, it least you knew Bramble wasn't right and chose to go with you instincts! I am glad Bramble is ok and that Barl turned up,albeit in a very random place love the pic!! |

Sounds like a tough week 
I'm glad Barl turned up and that Brambles is recovering. Poor cat, I don't blame her for feeling rubbish if all that was inside her! Well done for knowing something wasn't right, it sounds like you saved her life.
I hope everyone is okay and that next week is an easier week for you.  |

| Cheers guys yeh i knew Brambles wasnt right on the friday everyone kept telling me it was the heat but she was acting so out of character and that night she didnt once even attempt to come up on my bed everynight for the last 6 and a half years shes slept on my bed without fail that i knew something was wrong next morning she was slumped in the window seal next to my pillow i knew something was very wrong took her straight to the vets who at first glance said she was fine and couldnt find anything wrong with her but i insisted she wasnt right and was a million miles away from herself at which point he looked down her throat and spotted the thread ugh....as for Barl shes grounded untill further notice maybe she was having an indentity crisis? but ive sat her down and explained shes a "corn" snake not a "spud" snake lol |

| Thanks for all the well wishes guys brambles is recovering well actually better than the vets expected bless her think its gonna take some time to get her apetite back fully as she had surgery in her throat and intestines/bowell but shes certainly acting more herself and eating drinking etc and walking around shes just a bit slower than usual which is to be expected im just glad shes ok shes a very special kitty |

Thanks guys just took brambles to the vets this morning shes had her stitches out and got the all clear so i dont have to take her back again now woohoo now i can officially stop worrying about her and start worrying about the bill lol
