hello,
is this suitable for a viv?
also how should i clean it, cant get it too wet as it would disintegrate.
any suggestions? ( ive heard cooking things but not sure how this would turn out :) )

Whether it is suitable depends on the size of your snake. As long as they can get through it I would say it is okay. I use kitchen roll tubes in Apollo's faun and you can't clean them either. I figure as long as I know where they have been before hand then I know they aren't that dirty anyway. When snakey poops on them, I just throw them out and replace them. |

Aye, I like to build climbing constructions out of kitchen and toilet paper rolls as well. If it gets dirty, they are easy to replace ^^ |

only thing is that it is from Shrink Wrap at my work, it could have anything in it,
is there anyway to get rid of the dust etc without getting it wet?

As long as it hasn't been kicking around in a manky bin it should be OK. You could use a bit of string to draw a clean duster through it to knock out any dust. |

Duster and string sounds like a good idea to me. I think as long as it isn't filthy it should be okay, after all people let their snakes explore parts of their house (I dread to think how much dust is down the back of my chest of drawers and Apollo has been down there!) and even outside sometimes. |
