Probably a DAFT question but ah well.
Is there a limit to how many hets a snake has?

Because I have proven that my normal female is het for hypo, amel, anery.
and my male is Anery het hypo and amel.
But one of my hatchies this year looks like a caramel.

So both male and female would have to be het caramel...

Is it common for a snake to have 4 hets?

As far as I understand it there isn't a limit on how many hets a snake can have, it just depends on what was passed down by their parents. Sounds like you got lucky with yours

I'll be interested in what some of the more experienced people have to say about how common it is as I don't know my male Anery, Apollo's hets (or whether he even has any!) Are Hypo, Amel and Anery the most common hets to find in an unknown snake?

Ophis is a Hypo Lavender het amel, diffused, 50% Stripe

And the 2 I'm picking up at Kempton are Amber (Hypo, Caramel) het diffused, lavender, 66% Amel, and a Lavender het amel, caramel, diffused, hypo, 50% anery.

Nigel at Cornmorphs had some 6-7 het normals for sale earlier this year.
