Hi, could anyone tell me please whether it is normal for my baby Frank, carolina corn, to be cold when in blue? He is so close to shedding and did not want to eat last night, and felt quite cold to the touch even though he was sleeping before on his alpen in a hide on his heat pad. He did this once before and was fine after so hoping this is quite normal????? thanks

Snakes will normally feel relatively cold compared to your body temperature. As long as the mat temperatures are correct then there is nothing to worry about.
