Hello again, another odd question by me lol.

Just been reading a post about the decisions between buying a hatchling or older snake.
I'm interested in the mortality rates of young snakes from about a month old ?
As I'm going to be getting 2 baby corns, I want as much input into them as possible.
Some may not agree with my decision, but I've read nearly every post on this site so far, and bring up questions that I cant find info for, so that proves I'm doing my homework and getting educated along the way lol

To be honest I'm not sure, but a good breeder will not sell u til a hatching has become an established feeder. It does come up sometimes about breeders lossing them when they just won't feed from day one.

Ive bought hatchlings and yearlings and not had any probs with either i think the best thing you can do is buy from a reputable breeder there are plenty on here to choose from

as has been said good breeders will only sell hatchling that are eating properly, so if you have the right set up there shouldn't really be any problems

I have some hatchies available if you are interested scorpyshake. Personally i have had hatchies and adults and never had problems just make sure that they have had at least 6 feeds and are shedding, feeding and pooping well before you buy/re-home.
