Hi, Im smart bunny's husband and I have been looking over her shoulder for some time now when shes on this forum as i have always enjoyed taking the photos for her, but have never felt the need to personally post anything. I did just want to personally say thankyou to sexybear though. Its the post on oil baths to treat mites that Im grateful for. We brought our beautiful CRB home on sunday knowing she had at least one of these horrible parasites on her. Last night we followed the instructions re oil baths and it worked brilliantly. Got a minimum of six mites off her although it may have been more. As we were puting her back in her viv I even spotted one that SB very gently managed to remove...it was dead. Cant see any on her now although we will bath again in a few days. Thankyou so much for giving such great advice. Wouldnt have known what to do and if we went to the vet I bet they would have given us frontline which im nervous to use. Ive always been impressed by the standard of posts on this forum but this is the first time Ive really had first hand experience of how valuable the experience of some of you is. Aww, a nice dedication :) That's one thing that's impressed me too tbh. That some of the members are willing to actually help out in person. It makes it a little bit more than the average forum. Well done sexybear! And I'm glad your snake is well again!
