Kitty is a Volcano Corn

http://www.ratsnakefoundation.org/index.php/ratsnake-morph-guides/cornsnake-morph-guide/337-volcano-cornsnake

Now

for size... (those are 6" tiles)

When I first got him he had a lot more silver in him (8 weeks)...

which has slowly faded (6 months)

Monster is a Russian Rat snake (Elaphe schrencki)

He really lives up to his species traits, friendly, curious, fearless...

he loves to climb...

and despite the BS camera on my phone (Acer Liquid) sometimes I even get good pictures of him..

... and I love his kissy face!

Thanks for the kind words.. my android really frustrates me.. most of the pics it takes are junk... I got really lucky with those shots of monster.

The shot of him on the camera was taken ~5 months ago. You can really make out the bronze shading of his juvenile coat nicely, most of that is gone (he's about 1 yr) now... I got to charge the camera back up and take some more nice shots of him in his new space(he moved in early June to a bigger tank)

Wow, they are both simply stunning. That Volcano is really going to be beautiful. I visited the link you provided, thanks so much for the explanation, as I hadn't ever heard of this morph before. :)

No worries.. There is little info out there on the Volcano morph. Even Ian doesn't have them listed! As far as I know it's only one breeder who is producing them.
