Our 15 (approx) year old Corn Snake is not well. He has not eaten for about six weeks, he has refused each meal (wiener rats). A week or so we noticed a slight swelling under his chin, this went away after a day or so. Yesterday he was offered another rat which he ate. However today, he regurgitated it. Prior to the regurgitation his head seemed to swell up like a golf ball, his mouth was open. A small while later his face was back to normal but now he just has a puffy underjaw which appears slack. We also don't know any local specialist vets in the Harrow or London area. Anyone with any advice please.

Has he had any signs of gurgling/bubbles/gasping?

Otherwise I'd suggest waiting a week before trying to feed again, and perhaps offering him a smaller meal. Weaner rats are fairly large, and it might help him to have a slightly smaller meal if he's poorly.

Thank you Oakleyman18 I will try that. But to answer your question, no gurgling, gasping or bubbles.
