thanks everyone i put alot of thought into making the viv, trying to offer them most choice or favourable conditions, i added the perspecs to the top level to keep them seperate at dinner time and to give agness a break when she was in season, it works out great and just slides in and out no probs. i also have 2 perspecs sheets that i cut to fit round the big branch so there is three seperate sections, however never need to use it (but be good for if i decide to hibernate them and they can stay in the bottom, never hibernated them before). if i had to do it again i would make it a bit deeper however just used the white chip board as got if for free. i prob spent similar price (120)to buying one by the time i got all the extras i wanted but i have the viv i designed and made myself. im a bit sad like that lol but really enjoyed making them a cool home. if anyone knows if there is a max size for corn viv, as i know to big will freek them out and that bigger is not always better. thanks again |

Brilliant viv must give you great satisfaction seeing your snakes enjoying your own construction. Snakes look great and very much at home. All the best with the eggs. |
