These photos aren't the best as they were taken with my phone, she's afraid of my proper camera

Thanks guys

She's still a bit gun shy (in the wild the little ones are on the menu for just about everything), hence her camera phobia

My husband always says the same thing Figs, hehe. He calls her his little Velociraptor

She'll get around 5 or 6 ft (including tail) as an adult. So a bit bigger than our male is at the moment (he's a little over 5 feet). Thanks for all the comments

Depends on how much time you're willing to devote to them, Darwin is very very tame, but I spend a lot of time with him outside of doing regular husbandry stuff (changing water, giving baths, feeding, cleaning, etc...). Massey's getting there, but she's still young so is not as used to us as Darwin is. My husband has a friend that has a water monitor as well, but never really spent a lot of time with him and the thing is an absolute nut job, lashes out, tail whips, whole nine yards! In the long run, it just boils down to time and gentle handling when they're still very young.
