It's ages since I've posted (although I have had the odd lurk or two!) so I thought I would post some photos of Hygge who is now one year old, 2 ft 6 inches long, and 108g.
I've just moved him to a 3ft viv - he was unsure at first and hid for a week or so, but is now doing his usual circuits during the evenings!
I think I hit lucky with him, he is a cracking snake... (and I am now thinking about getting a second snake)

Thanks all!
The idea for hooks on the inside of the viv I got from seeing photos of someone else's viv, can't remember whether it was here or on another forum but I thought it was a good idea - they're just cheap hooks from Wilkinson screwed and (rep safe) siliconed on. Thanks if it was anyone on here

It's pronounced a bit like Hooga, it's Danish and doesn't directly translate into English but it kind of means cosiness and contentment (like when you're with good friends with beers in front of a warm fire in the winter sort of thing!). He tends to get called Fatty by my husband though, or Cougar by my mother in law who hasn't got the hang of his name... |
